The orders are collated by our sales and production engineers then batched accordingly to optimize machine time and minimize material waste ensuring cost effective manufacturing for both client and FSM.
Fascia for door entry panels, emergency switches, exit devices, proximity readers, etc. would generally start on our laser machine, occasional on our Trumpf punch press, having gone through the CAM programming procedure for either option. The individual products or batched components make their way through the machine shop to the pre-assembly area where they enter the next phase of the process. Other items such as posts for access control equipment would commence the process more conventionally on the cut off saw if a tubular design is required. They then follow whatever route best suited to produce the finished item.
