6 | Access Control & Security Products Push To Exit, Key Switch & Proximity Reader Housings With the ever increasing use of magnetic and electronic locking, exit switches have become essential. FSM has designed and developed a number of different styles of devices aimed at countering abuse and vandalism yet retaining functionality. We have a unique range of push buttons with flush stainless steel faces and protective sleeves or DDA compliant with yellow or blue tactile sleeves. These are rear fixed on a 316 grade stainless fascia and supplied as fascia only or attached to back boxes with our vandal resistant screws. To enter a building, we produce Key Switch housings for Euro and Oval cylinders as well as Proximity Reader housings to accept a panel mount reader of your choice. Push to Exit devices either with one push button, an additional Emergency exit button or contactless. 2 Way Push To Exit Housing

10 | Access Control & Security Products Emergency Access Control Drop Key, Crescent Key and Euro/British Oval Profile Key switches are all available in either our standard sizes or made to suit an existing application or customer specification. These are all produced in the same styles as door entry panels to allow for varying fitting requirements. Keys to suit these units are only distributed to bona-fide security & installation companies, not the general public. Euro and oval keys are generally supplied by the client and suited accordingly. There are also Emergency Exit switches. These allow exit from premises in the event of a door entry controller failure. They add versatility to positioning of access control equipment at whatever distance is deemed necessary to the access point. All door entry panels assume that the speaker unit is no larger than 120mm x 80mm. 2. The cutout for all entry panels should be the dimensions of the back box plus an additional 10mm all round. 3. The standard engraving font is “US Block 1L”, height 7mm. Alternatives are available upon request. 4. VR/M5 Security screws are included with all door entry panels. 6. The housing on SM & RH models is manufactured from 1.5mm 316 s/steel & pop riveted in place. 7. HD models are completely encased and fully welded from 2.5mm 316 s/steel. 8. For video panels, a sample camera or detailed specification may be required with order. Standard design is based on 40mm x 40mm board camera. 9. For non-standard panels, contact FSM. 10. Switch specification available on request or via the downloads page on our website. 11. Standard backbox depth is 50mm, unless requested otherwise.
