FSM has a team of design experts to produce drawings using the latest Solid Edge CAD software. They can process your drawings from several formats including: sketches, hard copy drawings, 2D draft files or 3D solid models from various CAD packages.
We work with you to make sure the design, materials being used and manufacturing processes will meet your requirements on quality, cost, performance and lead time.
The 3D models developed by our team are converted into flat patterns and optimised to maximise production efficiency and minimise waste. These flat patterns are then converted into DXF files to be processed by our fibre laser and punching machines.
After the initial model, prototype or first production unit has been made it will be tested against the original design criteria and project brief. Once approved, production will continue to completion and your requirements are met.
