FSM Sheet Metal Finishing Techniques
Polishing is carried out in-house by a team of experienced staff, using hand held equipment and fixed pedestal machines. Graining is another technique which we offer and is carried out using a Grinding Master 2000 or our Time Saver 32 linisher.
The Time Saver 32 is capable of edge breaking and sharp edge removal in all directions. This machine, along with the Grinding Master 2000, have an 1100mm wide belt/component capacity and a variety of belt densities ranging from course 60 grit, to fine 240 grit. When necessary, we can also grain by hand using a range of manual equipment such as a PTX rotary abrasive mop.
The variety of techniques at our disposal ensures that every project is completed to the highest standard and to their individual requirements.
